> Mud Comparison
Natural mud is extracted from a depth of 10 metres below the ground surface. It contains 90% water in its natural state. The main advantage of this mud is that it is easily transformed and is ready for use. We use only high quality peat extracted from 30,000 year old peat land. The peat we process through freeze drying contains no pathogens, unlike the peat produced by our competitors, who use heat processing to debacterialize their product.
The main disadvantage of the type of debacterialization used by our competitors is that it drastically reduces the most beneficial elements found in peat – its minerals, trace elements, humic and fluvic acids.
Micronized Mud:
Due to its 17 % - 20 % moisture content, micronized mud has an extended preservation life. Its fibres are standardized at 120 microns, so it does not obstruct the mechanical components used in jet pumps and therapeutics spas. It is easy to store and does not require any special storage conditions. Transportation costs are low, because it is shipped in fine powder form, without the additional weight of water.
The addition of lactopeptides to induce chelation during the manufacturing process greatly enhances the ionization of trace elements and hence the performance of peat mud. This highly stable product is water soluble.
Micronized mud is a unique avant-garde product that was created through the use of break-through technology. It will not stain spas or tubs.
This natural product complies with all the standards set by Health Canada and is certified for exportation to the United States and Europe.
Many health centres already offer full mud bath treatments and more and more are opening each year. Their desire to provide unique, distinctive and highly effective treatments has led them to choose our products.
